The Edergole Kitchen is run by Mike Harris and Jo Lewis who have been cooking vegan food on a professional basis for 25 years. They were the owners of the award-winning Heather’s Vegan and Vegetarian Restaurant in London (‘London’s best veggie restaurant’ – The Guardian).
Mike also ran The Grass Roof Café at Rossinver’s Organic Centre from 2004-7. For the last six years Mike and Jo have been catering for events and running a popular monthly supper club at their home in Dromahair. They have three active teenage sons who are vegan from birth.
The increasing popularity of veganism and those interested in eating more plant-based foods as part of a varied diet has led to a demand for cookery courses to cater for those unfamiliar with the types of food and methods common to the vegan diet.
